In 1989, the NS-AUA was on the verge of bankruptcy. By 1992 Dr. Wagle joined the Development Committee; since then he has raised 90% of $3.2 million for the financial future of the Section, exlcuding an additional $1.6 million for the NS-AUA Foundation, from which 20 Scholarships have been awarded to the Section's best young Urologists.
